Legal education is crucial in India, it allows citizens by equipping them with knowledge of their rights and legal system, which enables them to navigate legal issues. A literate citizen who is aware of his/her rights and duties is more powerful and is capable of reviewing the actions of the government which are against the democratic setup of the country. Legal education not only promotes the healthy functioning of democracy but also provides equality among the citizens of India, infusing an idea of the Rule of Law. The judiciary is considered one of the founding pillars of democracy which is free from external pressures. This enables justice to be served among various sections of the society.

Siddharth College of Law, a leading institution imparting excellent legal education in Mumbai, was established by the great visionary, Bharat Ratna Dr. B. R.
